Progress against targets
ⓈCompany sustainability reportThe Ercros Group has reported a reduction of 15.3% in greenhouse gas emissions compared to the previous year. The Group has also implemented logistic and operational improvements that have avoided 1,630 tonnes of CO2 emissions. The decarbonization efforts are part of the 3D Plan, which aims to reduce direct CO2 emissions by 2025 compared to 2020 levels. The Group's strategy includes the implementation of photovoltaic generation projects and increasing energy efficiency, as well as replacing net CO2 emitting fuels with renewable sources. These actions are in line with the Spanish National Integrated Energy and Climate Plan and the European Commission's Green Deal targets. However, the progress is towards carbon neutrality by 2050, rather than a full net zero target.
