Haldex has reported a reduction in carbon dioxide emissions from 40,364 tonnes in 2018 to 35,843 tonnes in 2021. For Scope 1 and 2 emissions, there was a decrease from 16,867 tonnes in 2018 to 9,416 tonnes in 2021. Scope 3 emissions were 26,627 tonnes in 2021. The company is working towards CO2 neutrality for Scope 1 and 2 by 2025 and plans to address Scope 3 emissions in 2022. Material efficiency has improved from 93.1% in 2018 to 95.0% in 2021. Haldex is also focusing on developing greener braking solutions to influence emission levels.
