Progress against targets

NetApp has made significant progress in reducing carbon emissions, achieving a 31% reduction in Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions from their FY20 baseline. They have also joined the CDP Supply Chain program and conducted a baseline Scope 3 supplier survey to engage suppliers in setting their own targets and reducing Scope 3 emissions. The company continues to work with partners and customers to address the use phase of their products, which constitutes a large portion of their Scope 3 emissions. The Sustainability Innovation Group (SIG) has been established to further these efforts, aiming to weave sustainability into all aspects of NetApp's operations.
