Progress against targets

In 2023, TD expanded its Scope 3 financed emissions footprint and developed tools for monitoring progress toward its targets. The bank enhanced its data and methodologies, resulting in improved accuracy of financed emissions interim target baselines for sectors like Energy, Power Generation, and Automotive Manufacturing. TD's efforts included data acquisition and analysis to improve data quality in the Agriculture and Real Estate sectors, although current data does not yet support setting interim targets for these sectors. The bank continues to enhance data analytics tools to track progress and monitor financed emissions at the portfolio level.
