Syngenta has made improvements in specific categories of Scope 3 emissions reporting, which are estimated to have a cumulative impact of approximately 11 percent on the overall Scope 3 emissions reported in 2022. The company continues its efforts to collect supplier data to further improve the calculation method, using additional supplier emission factors in the calculation, replacing database emission factors. These efforts are part of Syngenta's progress toward its SBTi-approved carbon reduction target.
