In 2022, Trinseo partnered with Eviden to deliver data on the carbon footprint of its products, which is a significant step towards achieving its net-zero ambitions. The company has developed a digital solution to calculate Product Carbon Footprints (PCF) for the chemical industry, which will be scaled across business units to provide automated PCF information to customers. Trinseo's collaboration with Holmen Iggesund led to the launch of CO2 NET™ binders, which utilize LCA and PCF data to provide a reduced carbon footprint for the packaging industry. These initiatives are part of Trinseo's strategy to meet customer sustainability needs and progress towards net zero by integrating renewable feedstock and conducting comprehensive environmental assessments.
