Anora completed an accounting of emissions across its entire value chain (Scopes 1, 2, and 3) for the first time in 2022 using 2021 data. The analysis showed that the majority of emissions come from the value chain (Scope 3), with less than 10% from Anora's own operations (Scope 1 and 2). In 2023, Anora updated its 2021 baseline calculations to include emissions from Globus Wine and calculated FLAG emissions. The company submitted its targets to the SBTi for review in December 2023. In 2023, Anora's total fossil emissions from its own operations (Scope 1 and 2) decreased by 21% compared to 2022, mainly due to reduced fossil emissions from Koskenkorva electricity. The total energy consumption amounted to 177 GWh, with 65.7% from renewable sources.
